Passages For Spiritual Reflection

The state of contentment is obviously the happiness and complete satisfaction of ones present situation in life and of course the state of discontentment is exactly the opposite. Not too hard to figure out? 

But what is not so easy for us to see or understand is how we get to that discontented aspect with our life, sometimes without us really realizing it? If we are in the state of contentment; how do we safe guard ourselves from getting to that “other” place?
