  Keeping in line with proper manors, or being a good listener, and modeling good Christian attributes by respectfully listening to others is generally a good way of operating. Who knows you just might learn something or contritely recognize a failure on your part to understand something.  Sometimes perhaps you might also be concretely reaffirmed as to your own beliefs substantiated by the obvious opposing viewpoints. And Like I said, generally this is the proper way of thinking about it. However . . . !
