Well, the holiday season is once again upon our doorstep and we are all too familiar with the tensions and frustrations which accompany the Holidays; shopping for all the gifts, planning and preparing the holiday feasts, sending out the Christmas cards and presents in plenty of time, and attending holiday gatherings with friends, family, or other social obligations. Sometimes we exhaust so much of our energies in the presentation of the holidays that we completely overlook the genuine meanings and values. This is one reason why it seems that often we don’t look forward to the season or perhaps just don’t enjoy it as much as we use to. And if this isn’t bad enough, many married couples have to face the strain of relatives applying undue pressure for their expectations of us to sometimes – be in four places all at the same time. You know; where, when, or why you will be attending who’s holiday observance! At any rate, these types of pressures can raise havoc in the sweet bliss of marriage. Husbands and Wife’s can often find themselves at odds with each other over the priorities of the holiday season.
